Author Jean Jegel lives with her husband, Carl, in Santa Clarita, a suburb of Los Angeles County. A lifelong Californian dedicated to marriage, raising three children and working for the Man, Jean now enjoys quilting, gardening, sewing, reading and, of course, writing.
California as it used to be serves as Jean’s inspiration and the background for her vintage romantic novels. Love of research is the catalyst for the rich details of historical eras she portrays.
